About The Position

The Mechanical Drafter is responsible for creating precise 3D models and 2D technical drawings that serve as the blueprint for production. This role acts as the technical link between Engineering and the Manufacturing floor, utilizing SolidWorks PDM for data integrity and GD&T to ensure high-precision manufacturing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Associate’s Degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear instructions for machinists and welders.

Nice To Haves

  • CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional).
  • ASME GDTP (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional).
