About The Position

Vertiv is currently looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to our team of
associates in Anderson, SC. We look for people who are 100% team-oriented,

This opportunity is for someone who wants to work within a technically driven

excellent opportunity to gain exposure to modelling and manufacturing drawings
pertaining to Busbar and Busbar tap boxes.

Requirements

• Possess computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and databases such as Access.
• Display a proactive flexible approach to working within a team environment.
• Proficient in 3D drawing packages (Solid Works experience preferable)
• Ability to self-manage, be self-motivated and deliver to project milestones.
• Innovative problem-solving skills
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
• Two-year degree in engineering related field (Minimum)

Responsibilities

• Support for Engineer staff for project specific requirements for Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA).
• Generate Solid work models and drawings as required for each project /site requirements.
• Perform initial setup of projects on ERP system IFS.
• Compile Technical Drawings for review by Engineers prior to issuing to the customer.
• Establish and reinforce document control for each project.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams, supporting design related issues and ensuring smooth production process.
