About The Position

As a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Honeywell, you will be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to established set of tools aimed at evaluating materials to identify the presence and extent of prohibited or hazardous substances used in hardware manufactured by Honeywell. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. External hires will begin with 90 days onsite before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid work schedule. You will review new designs to ensure material and processes meet customers’ needs. You will perform standard work to support new products such as (but not limited to) Hazardous Material Analysis, Flammability Test Reports and Fungus Analysis. In addition, you will apply expertise to support materials and processes issues and potential failure analyses.
