About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, or written instructions. You will work with hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to ensure high-quality builds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (Technical certification preferred)
Prior experience in mechanical assembly or related field (1-3 years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Proficient in using hand tools and basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems a plus

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts and components based on technical drawings, instructions, or specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and accurately
Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure proper functionality
Troubleshoot and correct assembly errors as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical issues
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
Complete production and inspection reports as required
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
