Mechanical Assembler
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler who brings energy, precision, and a strong sense of teamwork to the table. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach to assembling and/or disassembling forklift components, contributing directly to the production process that drives our business forward. Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move parts up to 50 pounds (heavier materials are handled with cranes/hoists).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Experience with electronic hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-components by following diagrams, instructions, and standard work processes.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with your team to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, including our 5S program and Toyota Production System activities.
