Dixon Bayco, a proud division of The Dixon Group, is looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in West Chester, OH! In this position, you’ll assemble and test mechanical components used in high‑quality industrial products. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and engineers, follow clear technical drawings, and contribute to the production of components. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and work efficiently
  • Team-oriented mindset with problem solving skills
  • Willingness to rotate between workstations and learn multiple assemblies
  • Enjoys hands-on, detail-focused work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and reach as needed
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all parts fit and operate correctly according to quality standards
  • Inspect finished assemblies and components for accuracy and performance
  • Work with engineers and team members to identify and resolve assembly challenges
  • Document assembly processes and any discrepancies found during inspection
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge about new products
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during assembly
  • Adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
