Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have at least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.). with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and fixtures per work instructions
  • Perform preset calibration and final testing on sub-assemblies or complete units
  • Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions
  • Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
  • Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
  • Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions
  • Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.
  • Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs and safety shoes, with or without reasonable accommodation
