About The Position

The Mechanical Assembler will manually assemble packaged equipment. (This position has the opportunity to move into a Lead position.) Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr. The posted pay range is a target and may vary depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years of mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID, ISO and engineering assembly drawings
  • Knowledge of structural materials, plate material, pipe sizes, and mechanical fasteners.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, tubing, valve types, wall panels, door framing, and hardware.
  • Competency in reading and interpreting engineered drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Steel-toe boots required in Manufacturing Facility
  • May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel a plus
  • Ability to read fabrications drawings is a plus
  • Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Preferred Requirement)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies following established procedures and blueprints.
  • Use hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic tooling to complete tasks accurately.
  • Inspect materials and report defective or questionable conditions to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety regulations.
  • Experience in an ISO certified environment is a plus
  • Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Read and interpret engineered drawings, schematics, and other technical documents.
  • Perform quality checks and use measuring, torque, and leveling devices as required.
  • Support other tasks as required when workflow allows
