Mechanical Assembler
About The Position
Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 60 years in business, seeks a Mechanical Assembler. The assembler will produce shipping containers and other products by assembling parts and subassemblies. The right candidate for our Level 1 position will have at least 1 year of experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, a basic understanding of blueprints, and the ability to meet goals and objectives under direct supervision. The right candidate for our Level 2 position will have the above qualifications, but with 3-5 years of experience and the ability to operate a variety of machines and a general understanding of all processes in the department. Our level 3 position will only be considered for individuals with 5+ years of assembly experience, ideally in the aerospace or defense industries.
Requirements
- at least 1 year of experience (Level 1)
- 3-5 years of experience (Level 2)
- 5+ years of assembly experience, ideally in the aerospace or defense industries (Level 3)
- proficiency with hand and power tools
- a basic understanding of blueprints
- the ability to meet goals and objectives under direct supervision (Level 1)
Nice To Haves
- Certifications in forklift driving
- Certifications in blueprint reading
