About The Position

As a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection of products in both standard and non-standard environments. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of work and ensuring high-quality output. What you will do: Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Utilize written instructions to accurately complete assembly tasks. Tool Operation: Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently and safely. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of products in work stations, ensuring all necessary materials are available and accounted for. Quality Control: Perform quality checks on work, identifying and recording any product defects. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to quality standards and established safety procedures at all times. Maintain a clean and safe work area to ensure a productive work environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Capable of working in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day. Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure high-quality assembly. Precision in following engineering specifications and instructions. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and rework products as needed to meet quality standards. Physical Stamina: Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods. Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols. Work Environment: This role involves working in environments that may vary from standard to non-standard conditions. It requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to adapt to different working conditions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
