About The Position

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished units according to standardized procedures, work instructions, and engineering drawings. Use hand tools, small power tools, fixtures, and specialty equipment to complete assembly tasks. Inspect parts and assemblies for proper fit, alignment, and functionality; make adjustments as required. Perform rework, repair, or disassembly/reassembly of units that do not meet specifications. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when following detailed written and verbal instructions. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements. Report defective materials or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Meet daily production goals while ensuring high standards of quality. Complete required documentation, including production records, checklists, and quality forms. Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent technical training. Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions, diagrams, and basic engineering drawings. Proficiency using hand tools, small power tools, and measurement devices (e.g., calipers, gauges). Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Lift and carry components or assemblies typically up to 40 lbs.
