Learn to set up, assemble, conduct basic troubleshooting of the station/machine, and load parts. Demonstrate the proper use of simple hand and machine tools, including basic troubleshooting of machine setup and function. Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions. Responsible for quality product standards with no defects. Able to identify part defects and escalate as needed. Responsible for building conforming parts while maintaining target output adherence and expectations. Responsible for complying with applicable elements of quality systems and having a working knowledge of how they apply to the product being produced. Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required. Participate in audits with positive communication practices. Acquire and maintain applicable skills/knowledge/certifications as required. Maintain and communicate the needs for accurate inventory levels of all materials at the workstation. Maintain equipment and work area in coordination with 5S and cleanliness standards. Rotate to different workstations throughout the shift as business needs change. Complete all job duties and responsibilities within the scope and skill level of the job description. Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and routers. Communicate nonconformances as required.
