Our Mechanical Assemblers are part of a team responsible for the assembly of OEM machines using schematics and drawings. Strong candidates will enjoy the hands-on assembly of machines. Candidates must have a strong mechanical background and be familiar with electrical wiring of components such as motors, pumps and switches. This position will train and grow into a role within our Service Department adding on-site customer installations and repairs, which requires travel within Ohio and around/outside the United States, sometimes on short notice. Palmer is a global company specializing in the production of heavy-duty no-bake foundry equipment. Our company provides sales, service and support to customer in the United States and numerous countries worldwide. This position will work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., while working in-house. Initial training may alter hours based on training needs, between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; possess a valid driver’s license; pass a background check; able to obtain a U.S. passport; and able to enter military sites. Relocation assistance is not available.
