About The Position

Operate, troubleshoot, repair, construct, install, and maintain mechanical production equipment. Perform quality checks on mechanical machinery, as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain a high-speed can manufacturing line. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems. Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances. Partner with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Complete assigned standard operating procedures and documentation. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
  • Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical diagram knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
