About The Position

GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY PURPOSE: Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs all conveyor, and related material handling equipment. Preventative Maintenance routines, automated sortation equipment, and building repairs. Must also possess general knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, & pneumatics with ability to perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, and battery maintenance. Other duties as required.

Requirements

Ability to understand and comprehend instruction
Ability to grasp, bend, and lift or otherwise move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
Good communications and writing skills
Capable of completing all company forms and paperwork
Ability to work at heights or unusual work positions.
Math skills to include but not limited to general math.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, i.e., architect, mechanical, plumbing etc.
Three years experience in industrial maintenance field with demonstrated preventative maintenance experience in material handling systems.
Proven proficiency in one or more of the following areas: electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, electrohydraulic, mechanical, and electrical drive systems.
Familiarity with OSHA/NFPA standards
Understand and knowledgeable of MSDS sheets.
Must be able to operate all shop equipment and hand tools.
Must maintain housekeeping standards
Must maintain safe work practices.
Three plus years working in an industrial or similar maintenance environment.
