About The Position
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and machinery within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Repair or replace defective parts and components
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
