About The Position

Assemble, disassemble, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production and prototype powertrains (transmissions, axles, electrified powertrains and batteries), and vehicles; following the build book, illustrations, sketches, prints, check sheets, and repair manuals. Perform both garage and bench work, including, but not limited to: transmission/axle removal and reinstallation, transmission/electrified powertrain teardown and rebuild Works various shifts, including weekends when requested

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in mfg equipment operation
• Valid driver's license
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to utilize or learn the Ford WORQ system and Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to communicate optimally and professionally
• Ability to complete full garage services on vehicles, build up and teardown of prototype transmissions and axles.
• Basic Computer skills for email and data entry.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years with knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, fuel emissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics and clutches is helpful.
