About The Position

Requirements

  • 4+ years of mechanic experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to weld and perform minor fabrication
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in tight spaces in and under vehicles
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair. Keep Ryan's vehicles and equipment running at peak performance — performing maintenance inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs with precision.
  • Manage the fleet. Monitor inventory, maintain accurate equipment and vehicle maintenance records, and enter data into Fleetio and Asset Tiger daily.
  • Coordinate with vendors. Communicate with outside vendors on specialized repairs and ensure work is completed on time and to standard.
  • Be the internal expert. Interact with internal clients daily, communicating repair timelines, maintenance expectations, and solutions to problems as they arise.
  • Train and coach. Share your expertise with field associates and new team members — passing on best practices in equipment maintenance, care, and safety.
  • Think ahead. Provide feedback and input on capital equipment planning to help departments stay ahead of their needs.
  • Keep learning. Commit to ongoing on-the-job and classroom training to stay sharp and continue growing your skills.
