About The Position
We are currently hiring a Trailer Mechanic to join our team on First Shift. This role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of dry van trailers, ensuring safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in trailer repair or related field (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Must be able to lift 80+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable entering/exiting trailers and operating foot/hand controls
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lighting, and structural trailer systems
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Ensure all work meets DOT and company standards
- Work independently and as part of a maintenance team
