About The Position
Diagnose issues, maintain and repair fleet equipment such as vehicles and trailers, along with heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and plows Schedule preventative and daily repairs on equipment Inspect, operate and test equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and it’s components Perform safety checks to avoid DOT, OSHA, and safety violations and keep machines in excellent operating condition Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
Requirements
- Must have the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair fleet and heavy equipment
- Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and customers
- Ability to use hand tools to repair equipment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical
- Experience working in the field ideal
- Class A Driver's License
