About The Position
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all production and facility equipment.
Requirements
- Trade school certificate or Associate degree, plus up to 4 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required.
- Able to read blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Able to run shop equipment and skilled in the use of all hand and power tools.
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform daily machine change overs, as required by production.
- Fabricate, modify, build and re-build machinery and equipment parts and molds to ensure proper and efficient operation.
- Operate small equipment (forklifts and man lifts), as required.
- Assist with inventory levels.
- Work closely with Engineering on machinery and equipment issues.
- Work on special projects, as needed.
- Perform and document machine and equipment Preventive Maintenance.
- Perform electrical, plumbing and facility maintenance, as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work extended shifts and/or weekends, when necessary.
