About The Position

Comanche Trace is seeking a mechanic! Qualified candidates will thrive in a
hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

General Purpose:
Performs major and mechanical repairs on a variety of gasoline and diesel power
equipment; keeps all equipment in efficient and operable condition at all times.
Organizes and maintains a clean and safe area and maintenance area; performs
related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous Mechanical Experience is required.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment.
• Performs mower grinding/sharpening and all other aspects of maintaining equipment.
• Ability to work well with other technicians and team, including demonstrating and training team members on equipment use.
• Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered.
• Knowledge of the theory, care and operation of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems and mowing equipment maintenance such as grinding, sharpening and adjustment.
• Diagnoses mechanical troubles and schedules appropriate preventative maintenance work.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
