The Role We're looking for a hands‑on Mechanic with experience working on road sweepers or similar medium‑duty equipment. You'll diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform regular maintenance, and help ensure every ODRA sweeper on the road meets our high standards for performance and reliability. This role is perfect for a self‑starter who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast‑paced service environment. Spanish language skills are considered a strong asset.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a mechanic or technician working on road sweepers, heavy equipment, trucks, or similar machinery is required
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and schematics
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain ODRA road sweepers and related equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct inspections and accurately document findings, repairs, and parts used
  • Collaborate with service advisors, engineering, and the parts department
  • Road‑test equipment as needed (valid driver's license required)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following company safety standards
  • Provide technical support and customer‑facing assistance when required
