About The Position

This position is in Western Midstream Rockies Region as a member of the PRB Midstream organization in Gillette, WY.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in oil and gas required, three years preferred
  • Ability to work in cooperative team environment
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook is required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
  • This position is on a shift schedule and may be required to work overtime, weekends, on call, and holidays.
  • Candidate must live near the town of Douglas WY, Gillette, WY or Wright, WY.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in maintenance and operation of gas engines and compressors preferred
  • Knowledge in maintenance and operation of gas processing plant equipment including various types of pumps, fans, blowers and filters preferred
  • Relevant Gas and Electric driven compression package certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state and federal safety and environmental regulations
  • Maintain gathering and processing equipment including gas engines, electric motors, compressors, pumps, coolers and other rotating equipment
  • Read and understand maintenance/operations manuals for equipment specifications parts and procedures to make necessary repairs
  • Organize and maintain equipment records with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Respond to call out requests as needed for maintenance and emergency situations
  • Accountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment
  • Work closely with representatives of equipment manufacturers
  • Work around heavy equipment and in variable environmental conditions
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Obtain and maintain relevant certification for maintenance tasks on equipment in area of responsibility
  • Maintain communications, provide ideas, raise concerns, and work with other functions including plant and field supervision, operations, I&E, other maintenance employees, clerical staff, and contractors
  • Maintain truck and tools including minor maintenance of truck and attachments to ensure proper working condition at all times
  • Provide individual accountability for hand tools and other specialty diagnostic equipment
