About The Position

JPW Structural Contracting located in Syracuse, NY is currently seeking a Mechanic to join their team! Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime required as needed) Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00/hour DOE Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance work on equipment Maintain service records Operate and inspect equipment Expected to work in a safe manner Other related tasks as identified Remote Position No

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including trucks/trailers and machines
• Possess a valid CDL-B license
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random testing during course of employment.
• Possess the coordination, physical strength, and agility to complete required tasks within the allotted time frame.
• Able to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with body, arms and/or legs without restriction.
• Acceptable visual acuity, either corrected or uncorrected.
• Able to work at heights and in extreme temperatures and moderately inclement weather

• Basic computer knowledge a plus.
• Inspection certification a plus
