About The Position

Responsible for the maintenance, mechanical functions and repairs associated with equipment, machines and vehicles at a Cactus facility

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical work on equipment and/or vehicles
  • Diesel experience required
  • Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products; Customer Property, Repair and Remanufacture; Customer Relationships and Networking; Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and Other EOM Equipment; Infrastructure and Asset Management; Preparing and Evaluating Budgets.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Advanced Language skills, Mathematical skills and time management ability.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Work in confined spaces when required
  • Operate heavy equipment and power tools
  • Perform repetitive movements
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
  • Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive mechanical work on shop machines, equipment and vehicles.
  • Interprets complex mechanical manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine troubleshooting and repair procedures.
  • Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and performs maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machines.
  • Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment.
  • Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures.
  • Follows lockout tag out procedures.
  • Proceeds with minimal supervision.
