Currently we have an excellent full-time employment opportunity available in our Blairsville, PA facility. Job Responsibilities Disassemble and assemble transit wheel set assemblies and their components, using proper fixtures, mechanical devices and hydraulic presses. Dimensional inspection, documentation and assembly of transit wheel set assemblies and components. Test requalified or manufactured product to specifications Perform magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection (if certified) Clean, mask, paint or apply coatings to components. Prepare parts and assemblies for shipment Detailed documentation and recordkeeping Qualifications Basic mechanical assembly experience or training certification in a related field preferred. Basic mathematical skills Experience using precision measuring instruments Accuracy in completing reports/documentation and with reading and understanding written directions and procedures Machine shop environment background preferred Self-motivated and willing to work with minimal supervision Normal schedule is four 10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, however, the individual must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when needed.
