About The Position

Mechanics Needed at Our Menomonie, WI Plant Starting Wage: $30.55 per hour plus shift differential Schedule: 12 hour shift (5 to 5) on a 2 - 2 - 3 or Monday - Thursday schedule. What You’ll Do: Operate and Maintain Machinery: Keep our can line running efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Troubleshoot and Repair Mechanical Systems: Solve issues with mechanical systems and make modifications as needed. Use Precision Measuring Tools: Work with close tolerances, up to .0010, to ensure quality. Contribute Ideas for Improvement: Help us improve the work area, enhance safety, and boost productivity. We need you to have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalency 2 or more years as an industrial mechanic preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and grow in the role. Physical Demands & Work Environment: From a physical standpoint, this role is active and physically demanding. You can expect to: Stand and walk frequently throughout the shift, with minimal sitting. Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, parts, and materials, most commonly in the 6–50 lb. range, with occasional handling of 51–100 lbs. using assistance or equipment. Rarely handle loads over 100 lbs., with team lifting or mechanical assistance Perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching, balancing, handling, simple grasping, and fine manipulation. Perform repetitive assembly and repair tasks. Climb stairs or ladders occasionally while working around equipment. Work around fixed and moving machinery, power equipment, vibration, and elevated noise levels. Be exposed to heat, cold, humidity, dust, fumes, and wet or humid conditions typical of a manufacturing environment. Requirements

2 or more years as an industrial mechanic preferred but not required.
