About The Position

Comanche Trace is seeking a mechanic! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. General Purpose: Performs major and mechanical repairs on a variety of gasoline and diesel power equipment; keeps all equipment in efficient and operable condition at all times. Organizes and maintains a clean and safe area and maintenance area; performs related tasks as required. Essential Duties: Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment. Performs mower grinding/sharpening and all other aspects of maintaining equipment. Ability to work well with other technicians and team, including demonstrating and training team members on equipment use. Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered. Knowledge of the theory, care and operation of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems and mowing equipment maintenance such as grinding, sharpening and adjustment. Diagnoses mechanical troubles and schedules appropriate preventative maintenance work. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous Mechanical Experience is required.
• Valid Driver’s License
