About The Position
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Small Engine Mechanic to service and repair lawn and outdoor power equipment for a local Omaha company. If you know your way around a mower, love diagnosing what others can't figure out, and come ready to work — we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Experience working on small engines and lawn equipment (shop, dealership, or self-taught hands-on experience considered)
- Must have your own tools
- Steel-toed shoes required — must be worn on day one
- Ability to work independently and prioritize a busy repair queue
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing walk-behind mowers, riding mowers, zero-turns, trimmers, blowers, and other outdoor power equipment
- Performing routine maintenance including tune-ups, blade sharpening, belt and blade replacements, carburetor cleaning, and oil changes
- Inspecting equipment and identifying mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
- Completing repair orders and documenting work performed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
