We owe our long-standing success to our dedicated team members. We are currently hiring a Trailer Mechanic to join our team on First Shift . This role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of dry van trailers, ensuring safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in trailer repair or related field (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Must be able to lift 80+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable entering/exiting trailers and operating foot/hand controls
- Ability to climb in and under trailers
- Capable of working outdoors year-round in varying weather
- Must be physically fit to handle heavy parts and equipment regularly
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lighting, and structural trailer systems
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Ensure all work meets DOT and company standards
- Work independently and as part of a maintenance team
