About The Position

At Milton Rents, we pride ourselves on being a leader in the heavy equipment rental industry. We're looking for skilled heavy equipment mechanics who are passionate about their craft and eager to make a difference. If you have a knack for repairing and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, we want you on our team! Pay Range: $26.00-$30.00 per hour.

Requirements

Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).
A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills.
High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Must have your own tools.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Capability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a rental equipment technician or a similar role in the repair industry is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental and customer heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
Provide top-notch repair and maintenance services.
Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and on time.
Work with customers and vendors as needed to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.
