About The Position

The Mechatronic Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing both corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automated systems, and ABB robots. This role requires strong expertise in robot programming and maintenance, automation, and mechanical design using SolidWorks (2D & 3D). The technician will also manage maintenance KPIs, use advanced Office tools, and ensure the reliable operation of complex industrial equipment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or mechatronic maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ABB robots programming and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D and 3D design and detailed drawings).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, basic macros), OneDrive, and Microsoft Forms.
  • Understanding of maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF) and experience with CMMS.
  • Familiarity with sensors such as Keyence and SICK, thermocouples, thermal cameras, and air leak detection.
  • Experience with CNC machinery and 3D printing related to maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, lubrication, and troubleshooting on ABB robots, including programming and preventive care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
  • Design and create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings with dimensions using SolidWorks for fabrication and maintenance improvements.
  • Manage and monitor spare parts inventory and support CNC machines and 3D printing processes for maintenance projects.
  • Use and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
  • Utilize industrial sensors knowledge (Keyence, SICK), thermocouples, thermal cameras, air leak detectors, and related diagnostic tools.
  • Operate and interpret data from CMMS systems, ensuring accurate recording of maintenance activities and supporting KPIs such as MTTR and MTBF.
  • Use Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level, including OneDrive, Microsoft Forms, and Excel (pivot tables, basic macros).
  • Support automation tasks including PLC monitoring, sensor calibration, and integration with industrial communication protocols.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by creating designs and technical documentation for maintenance projects.
