About The Position

Mechanic - Light Duty - Denver Metro Wage: $20-$30 W.W. Clyde & Co. Great Plains is seeking a motivated, full time Light Duty Field Mechanic. Applicant must be self-motivated, reliable, and safety minded to accomplish various service and repair procedures in the Denver Metro area.

Requirements

1-3 years experience on light duty vehicles, tow behind light plants and generators, small engines
Ability to prioritize, manage time, work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and leadership.
Self-motivated, detailed oriented, resourceful and reliable
Proficient with computers, tablets and their operating systems
CDL Class A or B, or ability to obtain one upon hire with medical card
Must have own tooling to complete repairs , minimum tooling list will be provided
Clean driving record and background
Pass pre and post-employment drug test
Travel may be for short periods of time

Responsibilities

Accurately diagnose, inspect, and repair equipment as directed
Remove, repair, and install minor and major components with service truck crane using proper rigging and techniques
Read and comprehend troubleshooting steps, electrical and hydraulic schematics
Follow directions
Look up parts
Check Microsoft Teams and email regularly, these are the primary forms of communication
Maintain service truck, crane and compressor
Good record keeping
Other assigned duties
Ongoing safety training
Take advice and guidance from leadership and other mechanics
Communicate status of repairs and timelines to field supervisors
