About The Position

This is a remote/rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. The role is responsible for oiling and lubricating light duty vehicles in the shop and field.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of light duty vehicle preventative maintenance.
  • Knowledge of and experience in lubrication procedures for all types of light duty vehicles.
  • Ability to maintain preventative maintenance records.
  • Ability to prioritize the preventative maintenance workload.
  • Ability to work closely with mechanics.
  • Ability to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions, and task assignments.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand job descriptions, safety/technical manuals, and safety/warning signs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate.
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate support for the company’s environmental management system.
  • One (1) year as a light duty oiler or other mechanical experience in a preventive maintenance shop.
  • Valid driver’s license including ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC).

Nice To Haves

  • Petrochemical, oilfield experience or arctic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and perform any necessary preventive maintenance on all light duty vehicles.
  • Checks and maintains all levels of oils, greases and other lubricants in light duty vehicles according to specified procedures and oral instructions.
  • Checks and records meter readings.
  • Inspect equipment belts, hoses, and leaks.
  • Document any necessary maintenance.
  • Must provide own set of basic tools.
