As a Diesel Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work independently and in a team environment servicing and repairing diesel engines, tractors, and trailers. The Diesel Mechanic position consists of performing regular preventative maintenance and major/minor repairs to a delivery vehicle fleet and ensure the equipment operates safely and properly. The position also includes troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, ignition, pneumatic systems, diesel, and gas engines. You may deliver equipment or parts occasionally as well as move trucks, so a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record is necessary. The ideal Diesel Mechanic adheres to quality expectations and standards and has excellent attention to detail.
