About The Position

Assist the mechanic in preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment to insure safe operation. Such as backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, rollers, scrapers, forklifts, haul trucks, water trucks and dump trucks.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of one year experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an understanding of the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be willing to travel.
