About The Position
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on District fleet vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid license/certification or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Texas commercial driver's license (Class B or A) with "P" and "S" endorsements
- Texas Department of Public Safety School Bus Driver Certification
- Ability to pass Texas Department of Public Safety school bus driver physical exam
- Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests
- Must be able to pass criminal history check and MVR driving record check
- Ability to operate a school bus
- Proficiently read, write, and communicate verbally in English
Nice To Haves
- One-year experience in auto/truck maintenance and repair, preferred
