About The Position

Duties and Responsibilities • Ability to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. • Knowledge of computers • General knowledge of federal regulations • Ability to read and understand blueprints. • Ability to read and understand aircraft wiring diagrams. • Ability to legally operate a motorized vehicle. • Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, aircraft system. • Performs all airframe, power plant repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements. • Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments. • Completes all required maintenance records. • Accurately records time worked on work order. • Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. • Tows and parks aircraft • Performs other aircraft maintenance work as may be required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of computers
  • General knowledge of federal regulations
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to read and understand aircraft wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to legally operate a motorized vehicle.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the English Language
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • 3 years of previous aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to: Stand, Lie down, Kneel, Climb stairs, scaffolds or ladders
  • Frequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 pounds
  • Noise and vibration are common when engines are on, so ear protection is necessary.

  • Military Experience preferred, not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
