About The Position

The Meat Manager will provide quality customer service by directing and supervising all functions and activities of Meat Department personnel; to achieve the sales and profit goals established for the department. And to maintain and operate the Meat Department in an efficient manner within store policies. This Meat Manager role offers an opportunity to lead a vibrant retail environment while developing your managerial expertise.   • Must be available to work up to 35 to 40 hours per scheduled work week.
  • Proficient understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices.

  • Time commitment
  • Ability to lift (up to a minimum of 50 lbs.)
  • Math skills necessary to supervise and handle department operations.
  • Should have high school education, as well as some college courses.
  • Should have at least three years of experience in Meat Department operations.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all products carried in the Meat Department.
