About The Position

ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Measurement & Verification (M&V) Analyst to join our Public Sector team, located at our Corporate Office in Newburgh, Indiana. This position is onsite. The M&V Analyst is responsible for the on-going monitoring, verification, and reporting of savings associated with energy savings guarantees. This individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently, but must also possess the ability to effectively interface with many internal & external customers on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in business, law, finance, engineering, math, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, five or more years verified experience in energy or building or facility management, or measurement and verification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree and previous work history in one of the following fields: measurement and verification, energy, banking, customer service, teaching, scheduling, contracting, law, data analytics
  • Ability to attain CMVPIT or CMVP Certification

Responsibilities

  • Measurement and verification responsibilities for assigned customer projects
  • Proactively analyze and summarize all assigned customer projects which are performing as expected as well as those presently demonstrating the characteristics of producing an energy savings shortfall in relation to our annual energy guarantee
  • Proactively review and/or interpret problems or patterns related to utility bills and energy consumption to limit risk and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Solve issues or elevate to appropriate senior M&V engineering members for team review and resolution
  • Responsible for the creation of high quality/high value performance reports that convey added value and analysis of cost reduction to contract specifications and/or guarantees (options a, b, c, d and non-measured savings) to the client
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical customers both internally & externally
