Requirements
- A compassionate nature and a sincere desire to work with seniors
- Possessing a current RN license
- Minimum of two years of MDS experience in long-term care or similar healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and web-based software systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents, ensuring accurate documentation of their medical histories and needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Participate in care conferences to discuss resident progress
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide guidance to staff on best practices in resident care
- Monitor resident conditions
- Facilitate accurate coding for reimbursement
- Engage with families, addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Foster a customer-centric approach within the team
- Navigate challenges and support continuous improvement in care delivery
