About The Position

The MDM Strategic & Consulting Leader will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Master Data Management (MDM) for pharmaceutical commercial operations. This role is responsible for building the commercial “Golden Record” across HCP/HCO, Payer, Account, Affiliation, Territory, and Product domains, enabling compliant, accurate, and AI-ready data foundations for commercial, digital, and field operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in pharma commercial data, MDM, commercial operations, or life sciences consulting.
  • Having deep experience in OneKey IQVIA, and working on its direct consumers ( CRM, Commercial Data Mart, Speaker Programs) and indirect consumers .
  • Deep expertise in commercial master data: HCP/HCO, payer plans, affiliations, product/NDC, territory alignments, field rosters, and CRM data models.
  • Strong understanding of Veeva CRM/Network/OpenData, IQVIA OneKey, Reltio, Informatica, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Proven experience leading large commercial data or MDM transformation programs.
  • Strong communication, executive-facing advisory skills, and ability to influence business & IT stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial consulting (ZS, Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, IQVIA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with specialty pharmacy, HUB data, payer/PBM relationships, and omnichannel analytics.
  • Knowledge of compliance areas such as state licensing, OIG checks, DEA/NPI validation, and Aggregate Spend.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial MDM strategy and roadmap, covering HCP/HCO, payer, product, territory, and hierarchy management.
  • Design and oversee implementation of commercial MDM capabilities integrated with CRM (Veeva), omnichannel platforms, commercial analytics, IC, and market access systems.
  • Establish data governance, stewardship processes, data quality rules, licensing validations, transparency compliance, and audit controls.
  • Enable core commercial processes: segmentation & targeting, omnichannel personalization, field alignments, IC, payer analytics, and launch readiness.
  • Advise pharma clients or internal commercial leaders on data architecture, vendor/platform selection, and operating-model changes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Commercial Ops, IT, Data Governance, Market Access, and Digital/Omnichannel.
  • Drive transformation engagements, from assessment and design through deployment, change management, and long-term adoption.
