About The Position

WWT is seeking a Mobile Device Management and End User Services environment that includes design, architecture, configuration, and deployment. Additional areas of responsibility will include Microsoft Windows, Azure, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager, and clustering. Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions. Defines, designs, and builds directory, monitoring, clustering, configuration management environments. Responsible for developing directory, monitoring, clustering, configuration management design architecture and artifacts, evaluating hardware and software platforms, configurations, and integrating systems. Evaluates current environment for additional performance efficiencies, stability, reliability, and serviceability, and security posture. Conducts, documents and collaborates on technology reviews to ensure that the environment is aligned with current trends in directory, monitoring, clustering, configuration management technology.

Requirements

  • Secret Security clearance
  • Security+ CE, CASP, or CISSP
  • 5+ years minimum experience in related field
  • Proven experience designing for Mobile Device Management solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Current knowledge of IT requirements analysis, including capacity planning and interface integration. Breadth of knowledge will include hypervisors, blade servers, converged and hyper-converged hardware platforms, virtual desktop software, Mobile Device Management, etc.
  • Previous experience with multi-site, multi-vendor enterprise IT architecture. Engineer will document and socialize network design and design considerations to a change-management team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate openly and frankly with all internal and external partners, such as Government Engineers, Contractor Engineers, Contractor Operations staff, Management, and 3rd party vendors
  • Work independently, including the self-management of projects. Help others and ask for help without hesitation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all Engineering Service Requests, removing any obstacles to completing work as scheduled
  • Perform risk analysis of each Engineering Service Request, and inform all stakeholders of the applicable risks
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on the Mobile Device Management solutions, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager needs of all software and hardware used in the Corps of Engineers' environment, which includes, in part, products by HP, Dell, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, NetApp, HItachi, etc., and the integration of new Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager products within the Corps of Engineers' environment
  • Assist/Mentor junior Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager Engineers on technical solutions and architecture
  • Participate in developing the target Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager architecture
  • Design new implementations of the Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager environment stack, and after Information Assurance review, coordinate the installation of them with the DevOps Engineer, Enterprise Operations, and relevant stakeholders
  • Document Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager architecture, including network port connectivity, and design choices of the associated applications (Low Level Design, High Level Design)
  • Integrate Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager systems into the enterprise Configuration Management Database
  • Automate facets of the Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager environment, including deployment, SSL certificate monitoring/requests, patching and upgrades in coordination with DevOps Engineers
  • Provide secure, reliable, and high performing configurations of the Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager environments
  • Other duties as assigned
