About The Position

The IT Support Engineer (MDM) is responsible for managing and supporting mobile device management (MDM) platforms and endpoint provisioning across the organization. This role focuses on administering and troubleshooting MDM solutions including Ivanti, Apple Business Manager, and Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure and efficient deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of mobile and desktop devices. The engineer collaborates with IT operations and security teams to enforce device compliance, streamline onboarding processes, and enhance the end-user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced in managing Apple and Windows environments in a corporate setting.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Ivanti MDM for device management and policy enforcement.
  • Proficiency in Apple Business Manager for device enrollment and app deployment.
  • Skilled in executing MDM-to-MDM migration projects.
  • Experienced in configuring and managing company-managed Apple IDs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune for managing Windows and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with device enrollment programs (DEP), volume purchasing, and automated provisioning.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and integration with MDM platforms

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support MDM platforms including Ivanti, Apple Business Manager, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Provision, configure, and manage mobile and desktop devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Implement and maintain device compliance policies, security configurations, and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot device enrollment, connectivity, application deployment, and policy enforcement issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards and security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of device configurations, policies, and support procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams regarding MDM-related issues.
  • Participate in endpoint lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and asset tracking.
  • Stay current with MDM platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
