About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a MDM Application Database Administrator - REMOTE. In this role, you will oversee complex programs impacting mission outcomes while contributing to a dynamic team responsible for ensuring data integrity and availability at the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This position is pivotal in maintaining Oracle production databases and supporting various applications interacting with the Master Data Management (MDM) database. Your insights will drive operational efficiency and enhance data management practices, aiding in the successful implementation of new initiatives.

Requirements

US Citizenship is required.
8+ years of relevant experience in Oracle database administration.
Proficient in SQL query development and database security practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle and SQL tools, Microsoft Office 365, and JIRA.
Ability to obtain DMDC Position of Trust security clearance.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support MDM application database activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop requirements and provide technical DBA support.
Maintain MDM databases according to contractual deliverables.
Proactively monitor database health and resolve issues as necessary.
Develop transaction analysis reports and monitor performance metrics.
Manage migration of the MDM database to OCI Cloud and ensure compliance with government standards.
