The Records LES is specialized clerical work of complex nature that is responsible for all department criminal justice records. Interacts with the citizens of Mesa County, via in person and phone system; direct citizens to appropriate unit or resource, demonstrates a high level of customer service; encourage others to focus on the customer; foster an environment where customer service is priority. Interacts with offenders by completing bonding processes for warrants, and completing criminal fingerprinting. Communicates with other Criminal Justice Agencies for warrant and bond information. Process concealed carry permits for the public. Query state and national data basis in order to research criminal histories; research driver histories, license plates, for record management as well as assisting with criminal investigations. Complete warrant entries into the internal, state and national data basis, answer confirmations of records and begin extradition processes for warrant arrests. Answer all requests made for public records requests.
