About The Position

Under the direction of the Bureau Commander, provide oversight and direction of
all activities directly relating to, or other activities in support of, the law
enforcement mission of the agency. Oversee and manage a team of police officers,
sergeants, and other staff, ensuring that their duties are carried out
effectively and in accordance with department policies. Ensure that all agency
operations are conducted in a manner that enhances the community, are sensitive
to the many cultures and diversity of the university population and that USFPD
exploits all possibilities to provide the best possible sense of community
safety that is conducive to academic achievement. This is an out of unit
administrative class position.
