About The Position

The MCLN Fellows program is a part of HPUMC’s Mark Craig Leadership Network, designed to help individuals pursuing a career in ministry enhance their spiritual influence. This is achieved by providing practical experience within a church setting and offering access to proven ministry leaders. Fellows are assigned to a specific ministry and are responsible for executing various projects from start to finish, aiming to foster more effective ministries for congregants, team members, and the communities HPUMC serves. As part of a group, MCLN Fellows will meet weekly with the MCLN Director, assisting with projects while developing pastoral and administrative skills. Fellows are expected to become valued members of their Ministry Team and must thrive in a fast-paced, highly relational, creative environment with tight deadlines and busy schedules. Like all HPUMC positions, this role requires embodying the mission of HPUMC daily – to help people become deeply devoted followers of Christ – and demonstrating the HPUMC values: being God led, caring for one another, being respectful of heritage, and being focused on the future.
