About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical High Performance Computing (HPC) program of national importance. This cutting-edge program encompasses everything from HPC test planning and execution, to architecture design, prototyping, and vendor collaboration. Technical areas span commercial cloud technologies, HPC, and enterprise architecture directly supporting the success of U.S. national security objectives. As a Systems Engineer, you will: Provide engineering support across the full system lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and allocation. Conduct systems requirements reviews, develop concepts of operations, and establish interface standards. Design and integrate complex hardware/software systems while performing technical and non-technical assessments. Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, including CAMEO, to document requirements and solutions. Perform end-to-end flow analysis to ensure seamless integration of program capabilities. Requirements

  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (most recent polygraph must have been successfully completed within the last 5 years).
  • High School Diploma/GED and 14+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering field or related discipline and 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, OR
  • Master’s degree or PhD in an accredited engineering field or related discipline and 8+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating DoDAF artifacts using tools such as CAMEO is highly preferred.
